K-LEAGUE: SUWON SAMSUNG BLUEWINGS VS ULSAN HYUNDAI HORANG-I SOC
Suwon Samsung Bluewings @ $4

It’s another Bluetooth Derby as the Suwon Samsung Bluewings play host to Uslan Hyundai.

Suwon will be filthy about their 1-0 loss to Jeonbuk last week and facing the in-form Uslan is a daunting prospect, even if it is at home.

Sheer laziness from Suwon cost them the game last week against Jeonbuk as they allowed them to score a soft goal from a late corner.

Their opponents, Uslan will go into this game with plenty of confidence having easily accounted for Sangju Sangmu 4-0 last weekend.

It was a heartbreaking 2019 finish for Ulsan Hyundai who finished runner up for the K-League title had it not been on goal difference from Jeonbuk.

Last weekends performance from Ulsan showed they are men on a mission and after redemption in 2020.

The market has Ulsan the favourites going into this match but I think the defensive efforts of Suwon can match them, provided they can maintain a disciplined 90 minutes of Football.

While Uslan is dangerous up-forward, Suwon’s can have the ability to stop them in their tracks and possibly sneak home with the full three points.

Early-season upsets are always on the cards in any Football competition of any code, I’m backing the Bluewings in an upset.

K-LEAGUE: SEONGNAM ILHWA CHUNMA VS INCHEON UNITED
Draw @ $3

Matchday 2 of the K-League finishes off with Seongnam FC taking on Incheon United in what is set to be a fascinating encounter.

Seongnam FC – The Magpies will go into this game taking in plenty of confidence off the back of a 2-0 win away at Gwangju FC last weekend.

While it may only be week one, some Pies fans are daring to dream that 2020 could be their year.

It was a bit of a disappointing start for Incheon United last weekend but they managed to salvage a 0-0 draw against Daegu FC in what was a highly defensive game.

Recent history suggests that you can expect a low-scoring encounter in this match up.

In the four meetings between these two sides last season it produced a whopping number of two goals combined and just three of their last 15 meetings have produced just the one goal.

With that in mind, expect them to both split the points and back the draw.
