FC Minsk search for back-to-back victories as they take on Zhodino in the BPL this weekend.
Minsk snapped a three game losing streak with a comprehensive 3-1 victory over a struggling Slavia Mozyr side last time out, leaving them on three wins and three loses for the season.
FC Minsk have failed to keep a clean sheet across their opening six matches and have conceded five goals across their last two home fixtures.
Alternatively, Torpedo’s defences has been stingier than a first year Uni student, allowing just two goals this season, both of which came during their only defeat. Unfortunately Zhodino have been scoring at a rate of below 1 goal per game, attributing to their two most recent nil-all draws.
I’m backing Torpedo to break their scoreless streak against Minsk’s non-existent defence here and hold out for their fourth ‘W’ of the season.
League leaders Slutsksakhar Slutsk look to secure their third win on the road as they take on the inform Dinamo Minsk.
Dinamo got off to a rocky start this season losing their first two matches to BATE and Rukh Brest, they have since recovered to win three from their next four fixtures including an impressive 2-nil victory over Zhodino.
Slutsk have been the surprise package to come out of the early stages of the season, their attack at all costs philosophy has wowed spectators and wiped opposing teams off the park.
The table toppers are scoring at an alarming rate of 2 goals a game, with the competitions next best a mile behind at 1.5. Slutsk’s defence is a major point of concern though, conceding across every fixture this season.
Despite sitting top of the table and claiming two from two wins on the road this season the bookies have priced Slutsk as $5 outsiders here, a price I simply can not and will not pass up on.
