Warwick Farm: Race 2 (1:25pm)
No. 6 Dis Dah Wun

Dis Dah Wun has only made one appearance at the races so far, but she stamped herself as one to watch on debut and can break her maiden at Warwick Farm this afternoon. The Dissident filly raced greenly on debut at Gosford but finished off well to fill the minors, only half a length from the winner. I like that she’s had a trial since that appearance and the booking of Brenton Avdulla to ride is positive.

Warwick Farm: Race 5 (3:10pm)
No. 11 Cajetan

This is one of the strongest races on today’s Warwick Farm card and a horse like Cajetan looks over the odds at his current price ($21 at publish). The Pierro gelding has continued to improve with each of his four starts back from a spell, culminating in a lovely win over some good horses at Newcastle last time out. He’s rock-hard fit and I think that he looms as a genuine each-way chance.

Sandown: Race 6 (3:20pm)
No. 5 Glassey Miss

Glassey Miss has improved for two starts this time and is ready to win at Sandown this afternoon. The three-year-old daughter of Glass Harmonium won on debut at Hamilton before immediately returning to the paddock, resuming this time to finish sixth here at Sandown. There was a lot to like about the way she hit the line for fourth at Geelong a couple of weeks ago and any improvement from that effort would find her hard to beat in this contest.

Sandown: Race 8 (4:30pm)
No. 9 Sagarra

Sagarra will appreciate a drop in class at Sandown today and is primed to record another win. The Robbie Griffiths-trained gelding was rewarded for his consistent form with a lovely win at Sale two back and was last seen finishing one-length fifth behind Too Good Too Hard at Caulfield. I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.
