Daily Racing Tips – Friday 24th April

Gold Coast: Race 1 (11:33am)
No. 2 Loving Miss

Loving Miss is stepping up to the 1400m for the first time in her four race career, but it does not look like the extra distance will be an issue. She was an impressive two length winner at her most recent start at this track and she can continue on her winnings ways in this event.

Gold Coast: Race 4 (1:18pm)
No 4 Quality Seeker

I’m willing to forgive Quality Seeker for his last start fifth at Doomben and he is a horse that has a lot more upside than most of these runners. He won a class 4 by over three lengths before winning a benchmark 75 by over four. He drops 3.5kg on his last start effort and he is the one to beat in a hot little race.

Gold Coast: Race 6 (2:34pm)
No. 2 Peppi La Few

Peppi La Few is a gelding in form having won his last three on the trot by a combined 8.8 lengths. His last two have been in this grade of racing and I really can’t find anything else to beat him. The Pierro four year old has the benefit of Matthew Mcgillivray in the saddle and he is the one to beat again.

Gold Coast: Race 8 (3:47pm)
No. 1 Spurcraft

I’m backing Spurcraft to bounce back to winning form after missing the placings in four of his last five race starts. He has been a consistent galloper over his entire career having won nine of his 19 career starts and he has a good record over the short course. Nick Keal will use his claim to give him some weight relief and can boot the gelding to the front from barrier two.
