G2 Esports and FaZe Clan face off in Group B of Europe’s ESL One Road to Rio.
These two sides are very close in the European rankings with G2 currently in fourth while FaZe sit just one place below them in fifth.
Both sides are coming off a win in their first group fixture and will be desperate to maintain their place atop of the ladder.
G2 should be extremely confident coming into this clash after seeing off FaZe in the sides last two meetings, the most recent of which came a month back.
FaZe Clan are sitting on a 50% win rate across the past two months but have a 0% win rate against sides rated inside the top 5 in the world, losing five from five.
With all the form pointing towards G2 taking out this clash, it comes as a huge surprise why the bookies have the market so close.
Movistar Riders and c0ntact take to the field in the final match of week 1 in Europe’s ELS One Road to Rio.
Neither side are expected to make it through the groups stage here, with both happy to pick up points where they can.
c0ntact have only formed recently and contain the core players from CR4ZY, the new team are clearly having teething issues, claiming just two wins from their opening six fixtures, both of which came against minnows.
Movistar are currently ranked 44th in the world and have won 50% of their matches across the past two month, they have also played seven more matches than their opponents in April and with their superior team cohesion my money is on them in this contest.
