Rio Dixie has mixed her form a little recently, but this looks a very winnable race for her. The daughter of Barcia Bale was a dominant winner here four back and has raced competitively without really threatening at her last three. Returning to the inside draw could prove all the difference tonight.
Secret Wild Rose will take winning form into the eighth at The Gardens and looks up to making it two in a row. The daughter of Don’t Knocka Him has actually been pretty luckless of late, but everything went her way at Richmond last time out and she took full advantage. She’s a little over a month between runs and needs only even luck again to be in the finish.
Alpine Little was checked out of her most recent race but has been in sensational form and will be tough to beat at The Gardens tonight. The daughter of Hostile won three of four leading into her last appearance, including two in succession, in slick time. She’s rock-hard fit and I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.
Winlock Shakey hasn’t shown his best form of late, but this is a nice drop in class and I think that he has genuine each-way claims. He’s another greyhound that has been luckless in where he has been drawing into his races and if he can find clear passage from box 2, he’s up to fighting out the finish of this.
