The Gardens: Race 7 (7:15pm)
No. 3 Zipping Pepper

Zipping Pepper has been a strong and consistent performer recently and looks tough to beat in the seventh at The Gardens tonight. The daughter of Fabregas hasn’t finished worse than second at her last six competitive starts and flew home to record an easy win here two back, finishing less than a length second at her most-recent effort.

The Gardens: Race 8 (7:38pm)
Same Race Multi

One Strange Dude was checked out of his race here in November, in what was a total forgive run, but he was been absolutely airborne prior to that and can make a winning return in this race. I’m going to select him to win in our Same Race Multi. Angry Blizzard is an honest competitor and has the fitness edge, so I’m going to select him to finish in the Top 2. For value, I’m also going to pick Tim Violation to run into the Top 4.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

No. 3 One Strange Dude (Win)
No. 8 Angry Blizzard (Top 2)
No. 1 Time Violation (Top 4)

The Gardens: Race 9 (8:03pm)
No. 8 Agnetha

Agnetha has been a model of consistency since debuting and looks tough to beat in the penultimate race at The Gardens tonight. The daughter of Fernando Bale won each of her first two career starts and has finished second at her two subsequent, both at this track and distance. She harbours further improvement and it does look her race to lose.

The Gardens: Race 10 (8:26pm)
No. 1 Felicia Bale

This is one of the more open contests on tonight’s card at The Gardens, but I think that Felicia Bale’s drawing of Box 1 could prove the difference, and she is over the odds at her current price ($8 at publish). The daughter of Taylors Sky doesn’t win out of turn, but she did track home well from out wide to fill the minors of a tougher race here last time out.
