Full Powered will take winning form into the fifth at Richmond tonight and can make it two in a row. The son of Fabregas rarely runs a bad race and has actually won two of his last three, but his most recent effort at this track and distance and from this draw was particularly dominant. A repeat of that effort would be too good for his rivals again.
Look Fancy Nancy is seeking a hat-trick of wins when she steps out in the seventh at Richmond tonight and is drawn to receive all the favours in Box 1. To her credit, the daughter of Kinloch Brae has returned pleasing efforts from nearly every draw throughout her career, but there is no doubt that her pattern is enhanced when she leaves from the rails. With even luck, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.
Ebby Infrared has gone to another level recently and is the one to beat again in the eighth at Richmond tonight. He has won each of his last five starts, smashing the clock on three of those occasions, and winning is now clearly a habit, so I’m going to put him on top of our Same Race Multi. For value, I’m also going to select Armed Assassin to finish in the first three and Highly Effective to finish in the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
No. 1 Ebby Infrared (Win)
No. 4 Armed Assassin (Top 3)
No. 7 Highly Effective (Top 4)
Mottza likes jumping from out wide and he can add another win to his record at Richmond tonight. A son of the legendary Fernando Bale, Mottza has been a strong and consistent performer this time and hasn’t finished worse than second at his last eight appearances, winning on five occasions. As long as he crosses the field as well as he usually does, he’ll take plenty of beating.
