Fans of the Setka Cup have all been chanting “Ivchenko – You Beauty!”
The lean, mean ping-pong machine Denys Ivchenko is currently on a three-game winning streak and is now a hot favourite to go all the way and win the Setka Cup.
It’s set to be one of the games of the tournament as he faces Valentyn Polusmuak who is coming off a 3-1 loss to Table Tennis bad-boy Andrii Peretiatko but won his first four games prior to that.
Polusmuak goes into the game the $1.65 favourite, but you can’t help but ride the wave of momentum that Denys Ivchenko is on right now so it’s worth backing the underdog at the solid $2.10 price.
The Nicaraguan Primera Soccer action continues with the highly anticipated clash between Las Sabanas and Real Madriz.
This is one of the great rivalries in Central American Football.
Las Sabanas go into this game coming off a 1-0 defeat against the second-placed Real Estei but remain three points off the bottom of the table and the relegation zone.
The Sabanas are currently on a 10 game losing streak and fans are demanding answers, although their most recent efforts showed there is still a bit of ticker in this side.
Facing Real Madriz is a big challenge for them.
Real Madriz go into this game with back-to-back wins and haven’t conceded a goal in their past two outings.
They currently sit just outside the top six of the Nicaragua Primera Division on goal difference and will really need to make the most of playing Las Sabanas although, their away record isn’t so great.
The Real Madriz boys will take in plenty of confidence going into this game but cannot afford to take Las Sabanas as an easy beat.
Madriz tend to have a reputation for being flat-track bullies and for what it’s worth, I think Las Sabanas can hold them to a Draw.
