The Setka Cup Table Tennis action continues as the battler of the tournament Anton Popov faces the highly fancied Ilya Kanunnikov.
Ilya Kanunnikov is in red-hot form at the moment having won seven out of his eight Setka Cup matches and in his most recent meeting with Anton Popov, he got the job done easily beating him 3-0.
It’s the complete opposite for his opponent, Anton Popov who has only won one match out of eight in the tournament and has been struggling to recapture that winning form he was famous for in previous Setka Cups.
Kanunnikov goes into this match the clear favourite and it would take a major turnaround in form for Popov to cause a major upset.
Having said that, I think Anton Popov is a proud man and an icon of the Ukraine Table Tennis circuit and I wouldn’t put it beyond him to come out firing and take the first game.
Dutchman Wessel Nijman remains still on top of the table after day three of the Modus Icons of Darts Tournament but found himself winning only one of out his three games played overnight.
His opponent today, Mark Webster has played four fewer games in the tournament and sits in the second last spot on the table with two wins, six losses.
The matchup between the two makes for a fascinating contest.
Is Wessel Nijman starting to believe his own hype and is Mark Webster finally getting in the groove of playing Darts in the comfort of his own home?
While Nijman is the firm favourite in the market, I’m sensing an upset on the cards and expecting Mark Webster to have found his groove and means business against the Dutchmen in this highly anticipated matchup.
There’s no shame in enjoying a bit of Smooth FM.
I for one love a bit of Cameron Daddo’s relaxing tones at night while he tells me in that relaxing voice to put my feet up with a warm cup of tea, relax and play a bit of Micheal Buble.
The station will be counting down their top 500 of all-time and I simply can’t get enough of those easy listening hits to get me through my day.
George Micheal is the favourite to be winning artist and rightly so and I’m backing him not because he’s the favourite, but because I believe in his music.
I’m never gonna dance again if he doesn’t win.
