Russia’s Ural Volleyball Championship continues today and we simply can’t get enough of the thrills and spills of the men’s division.
The “Education Derby” between Academy and University this afternoon (AU time) is set to go down to the wire.
University has found some good form of recent, having won three of their past four games but will be coming off a straight-sets loss to the Military.
After seven losses on the trot, Academy was finally able to break through for a stunning straight-sets win over the Air Force and will go into this game with plenty of confidence.
The University boys simply cannot afford to drop this game and will come out fighting.
Expect Academy to put up a fight but Uni should have the edge.
Happy to take the 3-1 result in favour of University.
Taiwan’s Super Basketball League playoffs continue as Game 2 between the Yulon Luxgen Dinos and the Taiwan Beer gets underway tonight.
Game 1 saw the Dinos slug the beer 88-83 in one of the biggest upsets the Taiwan SBL has seen in years.
The Dinos are taking in some great form having won their past four matches and have timed they’re run perfectly.
However, you can never-ever write of the Beer.
They will be out for revenge and to even up the series 1-1.
The Beer should be able to get the job done tonight, they have been the top side all season and it would be a real reverse of form if they were to begin their best of five playoff series 0-2.
Expect it to be close, but the Beer to run away with the win towards the end.
The MODUS Icons of Darts League is now in its third week and after day three of week three, Arron Monk finds himself on top of the table after a clean-sweep in yesterdays competition.
In what is a highly anticipated matchup, Monk finds himself facing Paul Nicholson who is second on the MODUS Icons of Darts table only on percentage.
Monk goes into tonight’s matchup the favourite at $1.73 but Nicholson is good value at $2 in the head to head markets.
The contest that could make or break either player will be in the 180s.
While getting the most 180s isn’t necessarily a factor to get the win in Darts, it could be tonight especially given how close it is between the two players on the table.
In what is a toss of the coin, I think Arron Monk should be the one to deliver in this market and is solid value at $2.50
