Top of the table Slutsk take on bottom of the table Belshina in what looks to be the biggest foregone conclusion of the 2020 Belarusian Premier League season thus far.
Slutsk have lost just once across the opening five fixtures of the season and are currently leading the league in goals for with nine, six more than their sorry opponents.
Belshina are dead last on the table with two from a possible 15 competition points.
To their credit, Belshina have only conceded multiple goals on one occasion, their downfall has been in the top third of the pitch where goals are coming a premium.
Slutsk should stroll past Belshina here and represent solid value at $1.73 in the H2H market, although at home I’ll be expecting them to have this game tied away within the opening 45 minutes.
Continuing on in the Belarusian PL, this season’s surprise package Torpedo takes on the underachieving Rukh Brest.
This contest promises to be a showcase of defensive brilliance… aka boring. Both sides are currently leading the league defensively, only conceding two goals apiece across the opening five weeks.
Torpedo have kept four clean sheets and are yet to concede at home, while Rukh Brest have only had to pick the ball out of their own net once away from home.
All signs point towards a low scoring affair here and I’ll be tipping in accordance.
