Russia’s Ural Regional League Volleyball Tournament (RURLT) has delivered some outstanding games and today’s clash between the Ural Academy taking on the Ural Air Force is set to be a ripper.
Academy will go into this game hurting after getting oh-so-close to toppling the Air Force in their most recent match 3-2 and will really want to make amends with another crack at them today.
The Academy’s form in the tournament has been win-loss-win-loss so if current trends are to persist, they should be due for a win today.
Having said that, the Air Force team have really found their mojo coming off big wins against Academy and their traditional rival – a 3-1 victory over the Ural Military.
Ural Air Force are flying at the moment (all puns intended) and while Academy has had more time to work on their game plan in preparation for meeting them again, the Air Force boys are men on a (peaceful-sporting) mission and should be able to account for their opponents today.
Expect the Air Force to get the job done and there’s some excellent value in the 3-1 set betting.
It’s a PERTH SCORCHER today.
Lame Big Bash puns aside, the BOM has forecast “Mostly sunny. Winds easterly 25 to 35 km/h. Top of 32 degrees” for Perth today.
Factoring the old Fremantle Doctor and the nice sea breezes that the now sovereign state of Western Australia enjoys I reckon it just might get a tad under and am backing the max temp to be around the 31.55-32.05 mark today.
It’s sold value at the $4 price.
Nothing can stop the Darts!
That’s right, Darts is back for your sporting fix and we couldn’t be happier with the Modus Icon of Darts Live League.
Tonight’s clash between Paul Nicholson and Raymond Van Barneveld is set to be an interesting matchup.
Van Barneveld goes into this game far more experienced than Nicholson, who is back on the circuit after a two-year absence.
This will be a good test for Nicholson to see where he is at after a long spell, however, Van Barneveld should prove too classy for him and this game should be done in the unders with the bookies setting the total legs at a generous 7.5
