7 News v 9 News
Channel 9 @ $5.50

It was a big weekend for Nine News as they managed to take home top spot for the 6 pm news on both Saturday and Sunday.

Nine News managed to take out top spot last night with 1.37million viewers, after Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s press conference managed to get them home.

Being the lead-in program to Married At First Sight also helped Nine get over the line last night.

However, there’s a big difference between the news on the weekend compared to  Monday – Friday bulletins.

Nine will be hopeful that the Eastern Sea Board metro markets can get them an overall win at 6 pm if they can slightly increase the numbers in each city.

If Channel 9 can do that, they are every chance of beating Seven and outstanding value at $5.50

MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT v AUSTRALIAN SURVIVOR: ALL STARS
Married At First Sight @ $1.30

It may be the final of Australian Survivor: All-Stars tonight but they have no chance of toppling the juggernaut that is Married at First Sight.

The final commitments, reunions and shock revelations will get viewers tuning in their droves as this trainwreck of a television production finally wraps up for another year.

Survivor has it’s loyal following and they will all be getting together for the final episode tonight, but there simply won’t be enough eyeballs tuning into Channel 10 over MAFS tonight.

MAFS rated 1.161 million last night, whereas Survivor’s most recent episode only pulled 779,000 last Tuesday.

All in on Married At First Sight in this one.
