Albion Park: Race 5 (8:47pm AEDT)
No. 8 Chanticleer

Chanticleer has been outstanding since debuting and looks the one to beat in the fifth at Albion Park tonight. The son of Barcia Bale has had six starts for four wins and two placings and has won two in succession and with absolute ease leading into this. He’s rock-hard fit and needs only even luck to fight out the finish again.

Albion Park: Race 7 (9:34pm AEDT)
No. 2 Provoker

Provoker has been a model of consistency recently and looks a winning chance at a lovely price tonight ($6 at publish). The son of Magic Sprite hasn’t finished worse that second at his last four appearances, which included a smart win at this track and distance a couple of weeks ago. She can go straight to the lead and will give them something to chase.

Albion Park: Race 8 (9:56pm AEDT)
No. 5 Cosmo Bill

Cosmo Bill’s recent form could hardly be more impressive, and he strikes another winnable race at Albion Park this evening. The son of Cosmic Chief rarely runs a bad race, but his last three starts, all dominant wins suggested that he has found top gear. If he steps well, he’ll take a power of beating again and he is my best of the night.

Albion Park: Race 9 (10:18pm AEDT)
No. 2 Wildash Georgia

Wildash Georgia is seeking a hat-trick of wins when she steps out in the last at Albion Park tonight. The daughter of Shakey Jakey is another dog that doesn’t know how to run a bad race, but her last two performances have been particularly good and returned in excellent time. I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.
