Queanbeyan: Race 1 (1:05pm AEDT)
No. 2 Sky Mission

Sky Mission will take winning form into the first at Queanbeyan this afternoon and looks well placed to make it two in a row. The veteran sprinter took up the running here last time out and never looked in doubt, and he has been freshened for today’s contest. He typically loves stepping out on the 900m course here and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

Bathurst: Race 2 (2:35pm AEDT)
No. 2 Henschel

Henschel simply had too much ground to make up when he resumed for fourth at Scone, but he’ll enjoy good improvement for that effort and is ready to win at Bathurst this afternoon. The Smart Missile gelding has only had three career starts since debuting in April last year and his first-up performance this time suggested that he is in for a good preparation.

Queanbeyan: Race 6 (4:10pm AEDT)
No. 4 Pierro Rose

Pierro Rose hasn’t been seen at the races since September, but she showed decent ability last time in and can break her maiden at Queanbeyan this afternoon. The Pierro fill typically stepped out in better races that the one she strikes today and filled the minors over 1200m at Canterbury, most notably. She’s had the benefit of a couple of lovely trials and is ready to strike.

Queanbeyan: Race 7 (4:50pm AEDT)
No. 2 Pretorius

Pretorius was far from disgraced when fourth at Gosford last time out and on exposed form, he looks ready to win at Queanbeyan this afternoon. The Garry Neale-trained gelding is unlucky not to have won since resuming this time; placing twice prior to his last start effort. He can go straight to the lead today and will be hard to run down.
