Sudden Force has returned several pleasing efforts recently and looks a live chance of winning the fifth at Sandown Park tonight, at a lovely price ($8 at publish). The son of Lightning Frank hasn’t won since December, but also has hasn’t looked out of place in some tougher races and enters this off a luckless run from out wide at this track and distance. He’s rock-hard fit and his good early pace could prove the difference in this contest.
Jim Zarr Dashian looks a star in the making and strikes a very winnable race at Sandown Park tonight. The son of Kinloch Brae recorded consecutive wins at this track and distance three and four starts back and has since placed in two subsequent appearances, both at a tougher grade. He boasts good box speed and will be hard to run down.
Terren’s Close relishes racing at Sandown Park and will be hard to beat in the eighth tonight after drawing Box 1. The son of Unlawful Entry has won three of his last five races, including one in particularly slick time over 520m at Sale, and he is another dog that was completely undone by poor luck at his most recent appearance. He can go straight to the lead and will give them something to chase.
Playlist will take winning form into the eleventh at Sandown Park tonight and looks up to making it two in a row. The son of Aussie Infrared has won three of his last five starts, filling the minors on another occasion and was a dominant winner the last time that he left from box 3. With even luck, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.
