Red Hot Chevy has a class edge over her rivals in the fifth at Healesville this afternoon and looks well placed to return to winning form. The daughter of Fabregas has returned several pleasing efforts this time and flew home late to finish second over 485m last time out. A return to the straight looks positive and if she steps well from the central draw, she’ll be hard to run down.
Tinker Town has been airborne of late and looms as the one to beat again in the sixth at Healesville today. The son of Fernando Bale has won four of his last five starts, checked out of the race on the other occasion, and he has been reeling off some serious times. Bad luck looks his biggest concern today and he is my best of the day.
Early Special will take winning form into the tenth at Healesville this afternoon and looks well placed to make it two in a row, at a lovely price ($5.50 at publish). The daughter of Early Return was never troubled at this track and distance last week; extending late to score by a couple of lengths. She should only be more effective jumping from box 1 and can fight out the finish again.
Oodles Of Noodle has been a model of consistency recently and looks as the one to beat in the eighth at Albion Park tonight, particularly having drawn Box 1. The daughter of Dyna Villa hasn’t missed a place at her last five appearances and tracked home well from a tough draw to finish second at this track and distance last week. I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.
