Healesville: Race 5 (12:45pm AEDT)
No. 2 Rio Hustler

Rio Hustler relishes racing down the Healesville straight and he strikes a very winnable race this afternoon. The son of Fernando Bale has been a consistent performer without setting the racing world on fire and has placed in five of his last six here. He can stay away from early trouble from the inside draw and with even luck, will be hard to beat.

Healesville: Race 6 (1:02pm AEDT)
No. 1 Red Potion

It is fair to say that Red Potion has been extremely luckless at his last three starts, but he has drawn the rails at Healesville today and will take plenty of beating. The son of Kitty Lad has returned some terrific performances and results here at Healesville this campaign and mustered an electric turn of foot to record an impressive win here late last month. He’s rock-hard fit and this looks a lovely race for him.

Healesville: Race 10 (2:14pm AEDT)
No. 7 Qatar Girl

Qatar Girl was luckless, but also clearly needed the run when first-up from a spell here last week and I think she’ll be extremely difficult to beat with the benefit of that today. The daughter of Spring Gun was a strong and consistent performer last time in and smoked the clock at this track and distance most notably in December. She has form from everywhere across the boxes and she’s primed to win.

The Gardens: Race 8 (6:19pm AEDT)
No. 2 Come On George

Come On George is seeking a hat-trick of wins when he steps out in the eighth at The Gardens this evening. The son of Spring Gun doesn’t know how to run a bad race, but his last two efforts have been particularly slick and I cannot find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.
