Off The Deck has returned several pleasing efforts of late and looms as the one to beat in the sixth at Capalaba this afternoon. The daughter of Cosmic Rumble was luckless when drawn centrally and blocked for a run at Bundaberg last time out, but her form prior was excellent, and she didn’t miss a place in five consecutive starts. This looks to be the easiest task that she has faced in some time, and she can return to winning form.
Turnkey Creek appears to have found peak condition and can continue a pleasing run of form through the seventh at Capalaba today. The son of Magic Sprite has won three of his last four starts, including two at this track and distance, and from this draw. He clearly relishes racing out wide and can fight out the finish again.
Devil Ted has been a model of consistency recently and looks over the odds to salute in the eighth at Capalaba today ($7.50 at publish). The son of Dyna Double One has missed a place only once in his last six starts and was an impressive winner over 520m at Albion Park last time out. As long as he handles the drop in trip, he should be in the finish.
Eye Hate Cake has returned a few good performances recently and is drawn to receive all the favours in the eleventh at Capalaba today. The son of Soprano Drive recorded a couple of lovely wins here last month and hit the line to finish a length and a half third last week. He’s rock hard fit and ready to win again.
