Loud Missile has mixed his form a little this time, but this is a nice drop in class for him and with even luck, he looks capable of a return to winning form. The son of Magic Sprite was blocked for a run before finishing off well for fourth here last week and he should be able to stay away from early trouble from out wide.
Castle Ruins doesn’t win out of turn, but he’s another dog that will appreciate a drop in class at Angle Park tonight and looks well placed to return to winning form after drawing Box 1. The son of Swift Fancy recorded a lovely win here over this track and distance and at this grade in late November and has returned several competitive efforts since. This looks his chance.
Rock It Fernando will take winning form into the fifth at and looks well placed to make it two in a row. The son of Fernando Bale has continued to improve with racing recently but mustered a particularly huge performance to salute at this track and distance in slick time last week, and a repeat of that would see him winning again.
Surfing Dyno rarely returns a bad effort and will be hard to beat in this race. The son of Dyna Tron has won four of his last eight starts, placing on two other occasions, and he was last seen recording an easy win over 300m, albeit in an easier race. He needs only even luck to be fighting out the finish again.
