Sandown Park: Race 5 (8:17pm AEDT)
No. 3 Shanlyn Charlott

Shanyln Charlott will take winning form into the fifth at Sandown Park tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row. The daughter of Dyna Double One rarely runs a bad race and mustered an eye-catching turn of foot to record a smart win at this track and distance last week, in slick time. There’s no doubt that this is a tougher race, but it looks the obvious progression for her.

Sandown Park: Race 6 (8:34pm AEDT)
No. 1 Often Imitated

Often Imitated is another impressive last start winner and she’ll take a power of beating in the sixth at Sandown Park tonight after drawing box 1. The daughter of Kc And All has returned some outstanding performances this campaign, but her win at this track and distance in good time last week suggested that she has found peak condition, and she should be given every opportunity to dictate terms in this contest.

Sandown Park: Race 7 (8:58pm AEDT)
No. 3 Mepunga Pegasus

This is a rise in class for Mepunga Pegasus, but he was excellent here last week and looks capable of going on with the job. The son of Barcia Bale has mixed his form a little, but his ability to overcome a tough draw and run on last week suggested that Box 3 should be far better for him.

Sandown Park: Race 8 (9:23pm AEDT)
No. 3 Slingshot Hammer

Slingshot Hammer is a classy greyhound and can return to winning form in the Australian Sprint at Sandown Park tonight. The son of Fernando Bale was drawn awkwardly at this track and distance last week, but his class carried him a long way towards winning. This harder, but I think the conditions will suit.
