Bullet Shot has improved with racing this time and strikes a very winnable one at Coffs Harbour this afternoon. The Redoute’s Choice gelding hit the line with intent when fourth at Grafton first-up before producing another fair effort in a far tougher race at Doomben. He again ran on well to finish second over a mile at Ballina last time out and probably won’t be offered a better opportunity to win than this.
Luga Lad has been a model of consistency this time and looms as a live chance of winning at a nice price today ($7.50 at publish). The Purrealist gelding finished third in a couple of fair races over a mile at Quirindi and here at Coffs Harbour before again finishing third behind the smart Kiss The Bride at Kembla Grange last time out. A repeat of that effort in this company would find him hard to beat.
Casino Delight could hardly have been more impressive at Kempsey last time out and he’ll only improve third-up in the seventh at Coffs Harbour today. The son of Casino Prince ran on well to finish fourth when resuming but was far too good for a field of maidens last time out. This is harder, but he looks a horse on the rise and is up to winning again.
Hellenism hasn’t been seen at the races since July, but she is also yet to run a bad race and looks the one to beat in the last at Coffs Harbour. The daughter of Helmet is yet to miss a place in three career starts; winning here two back and returned to the paddock after finishing third in a harder race at Grafton. She looks ready to go.
