Tuta Time has found a purple patch of form and looms as the one to beat in the fifth at Albion Park this afternoon. The daughter of Cosmic Chief has won four of her last six starts, including two at this track and distance most recently. Her form from central boxes is good and she needs only appropriate luck in running again to win.
Farmor Millers has returned plenty of pleasing efforts recently and will be tough to beat at Albion Park tonight after drawing an inside box. The son of Velocette rarely runs a bad race and flew home late to finish second at this track and distance last week, having drawn out wide. He can settle closer this time and finish over the top.
Lil Bit Foxy will need some luck from box 6, but she has been in terrific form of late and looms as a live chance at a nice price at Albion Park this evening ($7.50 at publish). The daughter of Paw Licking has missed a place only once in her last five appearances and she was last seen recording a smart win down the straight at Capalaba. This looks an open contest and she is up to winning.
There is no denying that Chasin’ Charlie has mixed his form since debuting, but he has shown glimpses of brilliance and the conditions of this race look like suiting. The son of Fernando Bale has had six starts for three wins, but also three flat efforts. He should be given every opportunity to bounce back into the winner’s stall from Box 1.
