Sam’s Way has been racing well in harder company than he strikes at Lismore tonight and can return to winning form. The son of Magic Sprite recorded an impressive win in slick time at Albion Park three back and has since finished fifth in two tougher races. He’s drawn ideally in Box 1 and will be hard to beat.
There is a bit of depth in this race and it looms as one of the more open contests at Gosford tonight as a result, and I think that lays the foundation for a dog like Miss Kintaka to run a big race at a nice price ($9 at publish). The daughter of Kinloch Brae is typically a strong and consistent performer and resumed from a spell to finish third in Grade 5 company at Goulburn. She’s bound to improve and is up to winning.
Noela’s Boy has returned several pleasing efforts recently and looms as the one to beat in the eighth at Lismore tonight. The son of Paw Licking has won two of his last four starts, finishing second on another occasion and he only requires appropriate luck in running to be in the finish again.
Gina Spaghetti will take winning form into the eighth at Gosford tonight and looks well placed to win again, particularly after drawing Box 1. The daughter of Go Wild Teddy rarely runs a bad race, but her win at Richmond last time out was particularly slick and a repeat would see her beating these rivals with relative ease.
