Sir Duke is a consistent performer and strikes a very winnable race at Sandown Park tonight, at a nice price. The classy son of Kinloch Brae Recorded an impressive win from an inside draw at The Meadows in late October and has since returned three tough efforts, including two second placings at this track and distance. He’s rock-hard fit and should be given every opportunity to perform from Box 1.
Tennessee Tiger is unlucky not to be chasing a third win in succession when he steps out at Dapto tonight, but he has drawn ideally and is primed to return to the top of the podium. The two-year-old son of Sh Avatar was impressive when an on-pace winner over 600m here two starts back, before another fair effort in a tougher race at Wentworth Park last time out. It’s hard to find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.
Aston Peroni has been airborne of late and with appropriate luck tonight, should prove too good for his rivals in the seventh at Sandown Park. The son of Black Magic Opal is capable of returning some slick times and he has won each of his last two races by a combined thirteen lengths. He can go straight to the lead, dictate terms and kick clear when turning for home.
My Bro’s Ethics has been racing in typically smart form recently and looks well placed to return to winning form at Dapto tonight. The son of My Bro Fabio has finished a close-up second at each of his last two appearances, including a photo at Goulburn last week. He can go forward from Box 1 and give them something to chase.
