Scuffy will take winning form into the fifth at Sandown Park tonight and will be tough to beat again. The son of Pure Octane has mixed his form a little this time, but two wins in his last eight starts have been simply outstanding and recorded in slick time, and a repeat of either from Box 2 would see him winning again.
Kratos doesn’t win out of turn, but he also rarely runs a bad race and looms as a live each-way chance at Sandown Park this afternoon. The son of Banjo Boy hasn’t had a whole lot of luck but has finished on the winner’s heels more often than not recently and can produce something similar in this wide-open contest.
Mrs. Sharp has been luckless in some tougher races at The Meadows recently but looks well placed to bounce back into the winner’s stall at Sandown Park this afternoon. The daughter of Unlawful Entry recorded an impressive win earlier this month and with a clear passage early, she can lead all the way today.
Lily Pad looks to an above-average runner and is up to winning the last at Sandown Park today. The daughter of Fernando Bale has only had four career starts but won her first two and was last seen finishing third in a tougher race here. She’s drawn well and should have conditions to suit.
