Street Brawler has found a purple patch of form and looms as the one to beat in the fifth at Wentworth Park tonight. The son of Trewly Special rarely runs a bad race and has won each of his last three in impressive fashion. With even luck, he’ll be in the finish again.
Kipling has been a standout performer this campaign and is primed to win another at Wentworth Park tonight after drawing Box 1. The son of Fernando Bale has won six of his last eight starts, four in particularly slick time and he is rock-hard fit for this assignment. If he gets a clear passage early, it’s tough imagining any of these getting the better of him.
China O’Brien has returned several pleasing efforts recently and looks tough to beat at Wentworth Park tonight. The daughter of My Bro Fabio hasn’t finished worked than second at her last three starts, which included a smart win in slick time from out wide here two back. A repeat of that effort would see her far too good again.
This is a decent race and Casino Ace was only fair to the line here last time out, but his form prior was excellent and I think he’s worth another shot at around the $7 mark. The son of Fernando Bale won three in a row leading into his last effort, including one in smart time at Richmond in late November.
