Dapto: Race 5 (8:40pm AEDT)
No. 4 Bland Purr

Bland Purr is seeking a hat-trick of wins when she steps out at Dapto tonight and looks beautifully placed to pull it off. The daughter of Let It Develop has continued to improve with racing since resuming, but her last two efforts were nothing short of outstanding and suggested that she has found peak condition. She needs only appropriate luck from the central draw to be in the finish again.

Dapto: Race 6 (8:58pm AEDT)
No. 1 Chilli Cheal

Chilli Cheal has returned several pleasing efforts recently and looms as the one to beat in the sixth at Dapto tonight, particularly after drawing Box 1. The son of Barcia Bale hasn’t missed a place at his last three, which included a smart win over 520m Wentworth Park two back. He can go straight to the lead tonight and will give them something to chase.

Dapto: Race 9 (10:07pm AEDT)
No. 2 Fantastic Pippa

Fantastic Pippa has only made three appearances at the races so far, but she is clearly a runner of ability and looks a live chance of winning again tonight, at a price ($9 at publish). The daughter of Barcia Bale hasn’t missed a place; improving with each effort and breaking her maiden in style last time out. This is harder, but everything that she has done so far suggests that she’s up to it.

Dapto: Race 10 (10:31pm AEDT)
No. 3 Mandella Mae

This looks like being the best race on the card at Dapto tonight, but I am a big fan of Mandella Mae and he does look very difficult to beat again. Simply put, he has been airborne since debuting and has won four of five career starts, including three in a row leading into this. With even luck, it’s his to lose.
