Happy to be with the four year old gelding All In Brawl in this event. He has just the one win to his name from the 15 race starts however his last three runs have been promising. He was beaten only 1.5 lengths at The Valley over the 955m and has drawn well in barrier 2.
I have a healthy respect for this lightly raced six year old gelding. He does not win out of turn however this grade of racing is certainly not beyond him. He has raced well at Caulfield and Flemington in the past and his recent barrier trial suggests he is ready to perform first up.
Prism is a talented and lightly raced mare who steps out for her second up run here after just an average first up run at Pakenham. The All Too Hard four year old is much better suited over a bit of ground and she will appreciate the step up to 1500m here.
Gennady has managed to win three of his five race starts to date and he looks well placed yet again in this. He has drawn perfectly in gate 4 and although he has risen in weight for this I think he will go close again.
