Dapto: Race 2 (7:34pm AEDT)
No. 2 Cawbourne Sophie

Cawbourne Sophie has been knocking on the door of a win since her most recent one and gets her chance from Box 2 at Dapto tonight. The daughter of Swift Fancy ran home well to finish a close-up second at Bathurst last time out but did need to do a lot of work early from Box 6. She can make all her own luck tonight.

Dapto: Race 5 (8:34pm AEDT)
No. 7 Canya Star

Canya Star has been airborne of late and will be tough to beat in the fifth at Dapto tonight. The daughter of My Bro Fabio has won four of her last five starts, placing on the other occasion and is seeking a third win in succession follow crushing victories at Wentworth Park and Richmond. With appropriate luck from out wide, it’s tough imagining any of these getting the better of her.

Angle Park: Race 6 (9:13pm AEDT)
No. 6 Alpha Aion

Alpha Aion has found peak condition and will take beating in the sixth at Angle Park tonight. The son of Magic Sprite has won three of his last four and bounced back into the winner’s stall with an easy win from Box 8 at this track and distance last week. He’ll have the benefit of an empty box on his inside for this race and will be hard to run down late.

Dapto: Race 7 (9:16pm AEDT)
No. 6 Shanjo Prince

Shanjo Prince rarely runs a bad race and will have conditions to suit at Dapto tonight, particularly with the luxury of an empty box on his inside. The two-year-old son of Sh Avatar recorded consecutive wins at Wentworth Park before finishing just off the pace of Sorry Scott here last time out. I like that he is being given another go at 600m and he is ready to win again.
