Codrington Lass hasn’t run a bad race since debuting and is primed to win again tonight. The daughter of My Bro Fabio has so far finished second twice and won over 520m here at Albion Park; her most-recent performance easily being her best to date. With even luck from the box, this looks hers to lose.
Just Don’t Know rarely runs a bad race and looks to have most of tonight’s rivals covered on ability. The son of Barcia Bale has won two of his last four starts, placing on another occasion and returning several efforts in slick times. He can make all of his own luck from Box 2 and will take beating.
This is a terrific race and she’ll need to be at her best to beat the likes of Farmor Fearsome, but Lil Miss Pinky has found competitive form this year and looms as a live each-way chance at a double-figure price ($11 at publish). The daughter of Spring Gun recorded consecutive wins in late August and is sure to enjoy good improvement off her first run back from a freshen-up last week. As long as she jumps well, she’s up to it.
Benny’s Assassin will carry winning form into the sixth at Albion Park and looks well placed to record another. A daughter of Dyna Double One, Benny’s Assassin has continued to improve with each effort of last, but her last run from a tough draw suggested that she has found peak condition, and she can hopefully send us home a winner tonight.
