Wagga: Race 6 (4:40pm AEDT)
No. 1 Ruthless Agent

Ruthless Agent is as honest as they come and he’s ready to win what is an open race at Wagga this afternoon. The Bullbars gelding took a couple of tune up when resuming this time but returned an outstanding performance to finish second behind Murillo at Warwick Farm last time out, and a repeat of that in this company would see him winning easily.

The Valley: Race 3 (7pm AEDT)
No. 10 Somals

Somals has only made one appearance at the races so far, but she is clearly a horse of ability and can continue her rise through the grades at The Valley tonight. The Helmet filly took up the running at Benalla on debut and never appeared in doubt; extending to break her maiden easily, and she has since placed third behind Bivouac in a trial. I’m expecting good improvement from her first raceday experience and this looks a nice City race for her.

The Valley: Race 6 (8:30pm AEDT)
No. 10 Tavistock Dancer

Tavistock Dancer has continued to improve with racing this time and I think that the rise in trip he gets tonight will prove the difference in a return to winning form. The four-year-old son of Tavistock Has finished third at his last two appearances, the most recent in a fair race at Caulfield and he is rock-hard fit for tonight’s contest, with the added benefit of in-form hoop Jamie Kah engaged to ride.

The Valley: Race 7 (9pm AEDT)
No. 5 Vigere

Vigere has returned to racing in excellent form this time and will be hard to beat in the seventh at The Valley tonight. The Busuttin & Young-trained gelding recorded an impressive win at Seymour two back before returning another lovely effort to finish third in a tougher race at Caulfield last time out. He can go straight to the lead tonight from barrier 2 and will give them something to chase.
