Mixed Spice rarely runs a bad race and can return to winning form in the eighth at Ipswich this evening. The daughter of Dyna Villa was an easy winner at Albion Park three back and while she did return a flat effort to finish at the tail of the field two back, atoned with a strong performance under tough conditions for third here last time out.
Typhoon To Excel will carry winning form into the fifth at Gosford tonight and looks well placed to salute again. The son of Allkel To Excel rarely runs a bad race, but his performance here last week was particularly slick and a repeat of that effort would see him winning again. He has the benefit of an empty box on his inside, as well.
Screaming Chop never got into the contest at The Gardens last time out but is capable of a big performance under the right circumstances and is up to winning the sixth at Gosford tonight. The daughter of Black Magic Opal recorded an impressive win here at Gosford three starts back and, before another good performance at The Gardens for second. She should get every opportunity today from Box 1.
Foxy All Over doesn’t win out of turn, but she’s returned a few good efforts of late and looks an each-way chance in what is a wide-open contest at Gosford tonight. The daughter of Fernando Bale tracked home well from a central box to finish fourth in a classy race at The Gardens last time out and if she can find passage to the front early tonight, a similar performance to that would see her in the finish.
