Gunmetal Valley will carry winning form into the sixth at Dapto tonight and looks well placed to record another. The two-year-old son of Collision has continued to improve with racing recently but his last effort, a dominant five-and-a-half length win at this track and distance was particularly slick, and a similar performance would see him winning again.
Allinga Mal has been airborne of late and will take plenty of beating in the seventh at Angle Park tonight. The two-year-old son of Fabregas has recorded three wins and a credible third placing in his last four appearances and mustered a particularly smart performance to score over 531m at Gawler last time out. He’s drawn a peach in Box 1 and can make all of his own luck from the front.
Shorino is a far better runner than his two most-recent results suggest, and he is offered an excellent opportunity to bounce back into the winner’s stall at Albion Park tonight. The talented son of Worm Burner recorded three wins in succession in July and August, all at this track and distance, but he has been completely luckless at his last two starts, both from tough draws.
Franky The Jett is another dog that will carry winning form into his run at Dapto tonight and with even luck, he can fight out the finish again. The one-year-old progeny of Barcia Bale’s most recent effort was easily the best of his prep so far; beating a handy field by close to two-and-a-half lengths at Wagga and while this is another step up in class, he is rock-hard fit.
