An intriguing contest looks like materialising when minnows Georgia and Uruguay square off this afternoon.
As anticipated, Georgia were comfortably accounted for by Wales, but they will be both eager to respond and confident in their chances of betting another low-ranking side.
Uruguay pulled off the upset of the tournament over Fiji on Wednesday and I don’t see any reason why they can’t do something similar against Georgia. They represent terrific value in head-to-head betting.
We’re set for a serious arm-wrestle when the Wallabies step out for the second time at Rugby World Cup 2019 and perhaps understandably, they will start outsiders against Wales.
The first half against Fiji was certainly one to forget for Michael Cheika’s men, but their ability to change up their game plan at the break and ultimately ice the result was both positive and exciting for all long-suffering fans.
Wales were obviously always going to beat Georgia first-up and it’s difficult lining up that form ahead of this contest. They typically choke at the Rugby World Cup and I’m more than happy to take the price on offer for Australia.
