Orange: Race 1 (1:55pm)
No. 7 Maibeasy

Maibeasy hasn’t been seen at the races since March, but she was kept to tougher races than this during her debut prep and can break her maiden this afternoon. The Super Easy mare finished off well to place third at Newcastle at her most recent outing, and a repeat of that effort in country company would see her winning.

Grafton: Race 2 (2:10pm)
No. 8 Sefire

Sefire has only made one appearance at the races so far but looks a decent type and can break her maiden at Grafton this afternoon. The Sebring filly mustered a decent turn of foot to run on for third on the Sunshine Coast and she does appear to be lining up alongside weaker company this afternoon, while natural improvement will see her hard to beat.

Orange: Race 5 (4:20pm)
No. 2 Vincero

Vincero has stripped fitter for two runs this time and will enjoy a drop in grade into the fifth at Orange this afternoon. The Gary Portelli-trained gelding ran on from the tail of the field at a price to finish fifth at Canterbury last time out, and he’ll only take further improvement into this contest.

Grafton: Race 7 (5:15pm)
No. 2 Tiomo

Tiomo has a fitness edge over several of his key rivals in the last at Grafton today and will be tough to beat. The Uncle Mo gelding was settled at the tail of the field in a stronger race at Coffs Harbour last time out and ran on well to finish third, and a repeat of that effort from slightly closer today should mean that he’ll be difficult to hold out.
