Spring Silver has only made three appearances at the races so far, but she has improved with each and can continue her rise through the grades by winning the fifth at Healesville this afternoon. The daughter of Spring Gun mustered an electric turn of foot to break her maiden by close to four lengths here last week and with even luck, she can make it two in a row.
Western Bomber has excellent form down the Healesville straight and looks well placed to return to winning form. The son of Fabregas recorded a dominant win here last month and has continued to perform well in tougher races. As son as he steps well from the central box, it does look his to lose.
Dirty Azzurri does face a task in this field today, but he races well here at Healesville, has returned several pleasing efforts recently and is drawn a peach in Box 1. The son of Barcia Bale won here three back and while he was luckless two starts ago, he powered home late to finish on the placegetters heels last time.
Northern Moon will carry winning form into the last at Healesville today and can fight out the finish at a price again ($7 at publish). The four-year-old has been a strong and consistent performer recently and was rewarded for his efforts with a win last time. A repeat of that would see him fighting out the finish.
