NRL Round 20

NRL Round 20

There was plenty of big wins in round 20 of the NRL season with plenty of important results as we head toward September.

It was not a good weekend for Queensland teams with all 3 losing by huge margins.

We’ve taken a look at the best from twitter dot com over the weekend.

SUNDAY ARVO

Dragons 4 def by. Eels 12

This was not the greatest game of Rugby League that has ever taken place but there was still some highlights including a controversial sin binning.

Roosters 58 def Titans 6

The less said about this game the better.

Cooper Cronk scores his 100th try. Not for the game just to make it clear. For his career.

SATURDAY

Sharks 39 def Souths 24

The Sharks got the job done at Shark Park. The Prime Minister’s favourite place on earth.

Not everyone was happy to see him down there though.

Bulldogs 16 def Panthers 8

Just over 10K people showed up at Bankwest Stadium to see the Dogs down the Panthers.

Manly 30 def Newcastle 6

The woes continue for Newcastle as they went down to Manly in front of 15K fans at Lottoland.

FRIDAY NIGHT

Broncos 4 def by. Storm 40

Broncos fans still haven’t come to terms with the fact that their team may not be playing football come September.

They got a reality check on Friday night.

Somehow I don’t think this is helping.

Why are the Storm the benchmark of the competition?

Warriors 12 def by. Raiders 46

It was not a good night for the Warriors at home.

THURSDAY NIGHT

West Tigers 28 def Cowboys 4

The West Tigers started a terrible weekend for the Queensland teams on Thursday night.

It’s been 84 years…

Corey Thompson impressed.
