It was a great night for Australian Caleb Ewan at the Tour De France overnight.
Sydney born Ewan fulfilled his lifelong dream along with years of expectation as he desperately lunged on the line to beat Dutch Dylan Groenewegen to complete stage 11.
The Aussie let out a huge roar after coming to a stop and has overcome finishing third, third, second and four in his previous sprint attempts in the race.
The monkey’s off the back Caleb!

The first steps in the Socceroos journey to Qatar 2022 have been revealed with the draw for the Asian Qualifiers being revealed.
Australia has been drawn Nepal, Jordan, Taiwan and Kuwait which serve as the second Asian qualifying round for the 2022 World Cup and are also the first qualifiers for the 2023 Asian Cup.
Should it prove successful it would be Australia’s fifth straight World Cup appearance.
The Socceroos head one of eight groups made up of 40 nations from the Asian confederation.
The group stage will play home and away fixtures from September 2019 to June 2020.
The group winners and four best runners-up will advance to the final stage of qualifying.
Some are critical of the draw but Socceroos coach Graham Arnold said “We are happy with our draw”
How about that #WCQ draw for the #AsianQualifiers? The chances of that Group G coming out the way it did must have been insane! Group D, Group C and Group H with some cracking fixtures in there. That was a lot of fun. Plenty of excitement in the draw hall just now. pic.twitter.com/A0ROZHsnhQ

Port Adelaide played the man, not the ball against the Brisbane Lions (proudly sponsored by Neds) as they scratched and poked Lachie Neale in the eye on Sunday night.
While there weren’t any visible symptoms at the time, Dermott Brereton had a go at him during the coverage for daring to see the doctor.
Derm went on about how Aussie Rules is a “Mans game.”
“He’s a senior player. I’d like the blokes to say, ‘Hey I’m paying league football. It’s a man’s game. It’s hard, it’s tough. I’ve got to stand up and take this,” he said on the FOX Footy coverage.
On Instagram, Lachie hit back with some feedback for the five-time day/five-time night Hawthorn premiership player
