Grafton: Race 3 (1:35pm)
No. 4 Snapchat Girl

Snapchat Girl has returned to racing in excellent condition this time and looks tough to beat third-up at Grafton today. The Lope De Vega mare resumed for a smart win on the Gold Coast, before finishing second behind Sornja at her last appearance. She’ll enjoy a good drop in the weights today will be tough to catch.

Grafton: Race 6 (3:25pm)
No. 2 Tawfiq Boy

Tawfiq Boy will returned from a let-up at Grafton this afternoon and has a class edge over the lion’s share of these rivals. The Kris Lees-trained gelding recorded plenty of strong results in far tough races than this one in autumn and has form around some of Queensland’s better sprinters. Jason Collett takes the ride from barrier 7 and with even luck, he can fight out the finish.

Grafton Race 7 (4:05pm)
No. 3 Sopressa

Group 1 winner Sopressa has returned several pleasing efforts this time and will prove hard to beat in this afternoon’s Grafton Cup. The Ciaran Maher & David Eustace-trained mare did take a few to get going this time, but she’s been excellent during the winter and has finished a close second in both the Group 3 Queen’s Cup and Listed Caloundra Cup, most notably. She can go straight to the lead from barrier 5 and will give them something to chase.

Grafton: Race 8 (4:40pm)
No. 4 Wudang Blade

Wudang Blade hasn’t been seen at the races since March, but he is a horse that typically flies fresh and he is over the odds to make a winning return in the last at Grafton today ($14 at publish). The Hidden Dragon gelding is another horse that has typically raced in strong company than he strikes today and finished outside of the places only once in his five most-recent starts, which included a strong win in BM85 company at Doomben. He’s had the benefit of two good trials and he’s primed for a big performance.
