Je Suis Tycoon has been a very consistent horse in her career to date having won or placed in 13 of her 25 race starts. She was not far away when she went into town two starts back and I like the fact that she has had a barrier trial in between runs. She has the big weight and barrier to overcome in this contest but she has a bit of class on her opponents.
The Kris Lees trained Powerline has been a consistent galloper around these parts for quite some time and the grey gelding has not been disgraced when heading into town which is always a good guide. He was beaten 1.5 lengths at Doomben last start on the heavy going and I like him dropping back to 1200m which is his preferred distance.
Looks Like Elvis is racing very well this prep and the step up to the mile at his third run looks ideal. He was cruising at the top of the straight at Eagle Farm last start and I was impressed by the way he found the line when he was pressured late. He has drawn a good gate and I think he can add the Coffs Harbour Cup to his resume.
Galway has not been placed at his last three runs however I was encouraged by the way he hit the line last start. He was only 1.5 lengths behind Onemore Sapphire and that horse has performed well in town since that win.
