Wagga: Race 4 (1:45pm)
No. 1 Galaxy Force

Galaxy Force hasn’t been seen at the races since March, but he is a horse with above average talent and can make a winning return at Wagga this afternoon. The Astronomer Royal gelding hit the line well to finish third on debut at Albury, before breaking his maiden in style last time out. He can slot in behind the pace from his wide barrier and finish over the top of his rivals.

Wagga: Race 5 (2:20pm)
No. 6 Powerscout

Powerscout will take plenty of benefit into his second campaign target and looks a touch of overs to win at Wagga ($6 at publish). The Kingmaker gelding enjoys racing on a soft track and hit the line well to finish third at Narrandera first-up. This is a small step up in class, but he’s drawn well and will take beating.

Wagga: Race 7 (3:35pm)
No. 7 Lemon Splice

Lemon Splice will carry winning form into the seventh at Wagga this afternoon and looks beautifully placed to make it two in a row. The Lindsay Park-trained galloper clearly needed the run when he tailed off to finish seventh at Pakenham first-up but was far more effect on the heavy going here last time out and recorded an easy win. He’s got upside and the rise in trip should suit.

Wagga: Race 8 (4:10pm)
No. 6 Wyangle

Wyangle failed to fire first-up, but he is a horse that typically enjoys sharp improvement with a run under his belt and looks a live chance at a price in the last at Wagga today ($9 at publish). The Oratorio gelding strode home to score an impressive win at this point of his preparation last time out and can go straight to the lead today from barrier 5. He’ll give them something to chase with only 54.5 kgs in tow.
