Ashley’s Entity was a dominant winner at Warragul last time out, and he looks extremely difficult to beat in the first at Sandown Park tonight after drawing Box 1. The son of Collision has stamped himself as a dog to follow since debuting late last year, but his first-up run fresh off a short spell last week was easily the biggest of his career so far and he’ll only take improvement into this race.
Blue Shadows is seeking a third-consecutive win when he steps out at Sandown Park tonight and looks as though he’ll have conditions to suit. The son of Barcia Bale has recorded three wins from his four most-recent starts, the other being a close-up second behind Ace Allen at Warrnambool. This is a step back in trip, but he is a versatile dog and has the benefit of an empty box on his outside.
Dyna Chancer has a class edge over the lion’s share of his rivals in the sixth at Sandown Park tonight and will be tough to beat. The son of Dyna Double One is returned to Victoria from a smart campaign in Brisbane, which heralded a close-up second behind Bago Bye Bye in the Group 1 Brisbane Cup most notably. He’ll get a cart into the race from his wide box tonight and will be hard to hold out.
I concede that Sweet As Emm will be hard to beat, but Go Seek Heidi has found some outstanding form of her own and comes right into contention from Box 1. The daughter of Fernando Bale hasn’t finished worse that second at her seven most-recent appearances and scored an impressive win at this track and distance last week.
Back Up #2 Sweet As Emm
This looks like the perfect opportunity to utilise a Back Up.
