What an outstanding way to the round out the weekend and I simply cannot wait for this match between England and India. Everything is on the line for the host nation, while India will be confident of keeping alive an unbeaten run of form at the Cricket World Cup and potentially, drive the final nail into the coffin of England.
In typical form for the British press, they’ve already well and truly teed off on their own players and campaign and the pressure in the dressing room must be immense. Eoin Morgan doesn’t seem to be the sort of bloke that’s too overdone by the situation and I’m tipping a big performance from the skipper.
India have been India – strong and consistent, and it’s unsurprising to see them undefeated. I do think that too much has been left up to Kohli, though, and I think that they could suffer defeat to a desperate England.
