So, the Bombers managed to storm home from 19 points in the last quarter to beat GWS in what was a cracking game of footy.
But, you’ll never guess what happened?
THERE WAS A SCORE REVIEW STUFF UP.
During an AFL game, I know.
When Essendon’s Shaun McKernan kicked the game-tying goal with two minutes left, it looked like it was touched off the the boot from Giant Adam Kennedy.
Speaking on FOX Footy’s post game show last night, Jonathan Brown didn’t hold back.
“(Adam) Kennedy’s got his left ring finger in a splint,”
“Clearly his left ring finger … look at that. Clearly touched. How the hell can these part-timers not even pick that up?
“We picked it up in ten seconds. That is a critical point in the game and that drew Essendon level.
“This is the biggest embarrassment in our game since Meat Loaf sang before the Grand Final.”
Score reviews and football just don’t mix at the moment, of any code. Just ask anyone following the Women’s World Cup Soccer.
Was it touched? 😯

In what many regards as the highlight of last nights Wests Tigers v Souths clash, two streakers/pitch invaders (not nude) interrupted the game.
In fact, there was a slight break in play as the fans ran onto the pitch.
The first one was easily accounted for but another was too good for the security staff, which resulted in the guard flying off into the air.
We stepped to the left, he stepped to the right and then eventually crashed in an act of memorable slapstick.
This is the third pitch invasion at the Stadium since it opened in April.

Get this – if England lose their game against India on Saturday night and one of Pakistan or Bangladesh win both of their remaining matches – England won’t make the finals of the World Cup and will be eliminated
Do you think our English friends are taking it well?
Not really.
Johnny Bairstow has weighed in saying its “typical English” mentality, and that his team hasn’t received the right level of support as they “wait” for them to fail, particularly from former greats like Micheal Vaughan.
“I was surprised with a clip of Vaughan’s comments at 8.30. Bloody hell. That’s pretty rich,”
“It’s part and parcel of modern life I’m afraid. That’s the world at the moment. You can’t be seen doing anything without someone having an opinion on it.
😠 'We've had some atrocious World Cups and this could be top of the tree'
