Neo Cleo has been a strong and consistent performer recently and strikes another winnable one at Albion Park tonight. The two-year-old daughter of Cosmic Rumble strung together five wins in succession through April and May and has finished a close-up second at her two most-recent appearances, including her first run at this track and distance last time out. She’s rock-hard fit and will take beating.
Got Some Wheels has been airborne this time and will be extremely difficult to beat at Albion Park tonight. The son of Bekim Bale has won each of his last five starts, including two in decent company at Sandown Park most recently by a combined eight lengths. With even luck from the central box, he’s the one to beat.
Bago Bye Bye comprehensively beat his rivals in the Group 1 Brisbane Cup last week and I see no reason why he cannot repeat that performance and result in the Superstayers. The son of Barcia Bale has been jumping extremely well and led virtually the entire way last week before extending in the straight. He is clearly up to winning at this grade and will relish the conditions once more.
And You Are has been racing fairly this time, but finds a winnable race at Albion Park tonight and I think that he’ll be tough to beat from Box 1. The son of Outa Credit has returned some decent performances under tough conditions and from tough boxes recently, but he’s rock-hard fit and should roll forward tonight.
