Capalaba: Race 2 (12:05pm)
No. 1 Redeal

Redeal was an impressive winner at Albion Park last time and looks well placed to make it two in a row at Capalaba this afternoon. The son of Fabregas has returned several pleasing efforts recently and placed here three and four starts back, before running fourth in a tougher race prior to his last start win. He’s rock-hard fit and can stay away from interference from Box 1.

Capalaba: Race 5 (12:57pm)
No. 2 Dervando

I’m happy to roll the dice and have something small each-way on Dervando in the fifth at Capalaba this afternoon. The son of Fernando Bale has only been fair this time but has also been pretty luckless and switch to running down the straight could be just what he needs to find a bit of confidence. The double-figures on offer at publish could prove to be big overs.

Albion Park: Race 3 (6:27pm)
No. 1 Wildash Witch

Wildash Witch has only made one appearance at the races so far but was an impressive winner at Ipswich on debut and looks beautifully placed to keep alive her unbeaten career starts at Albion Park this evening. She’s drawn a peach in Box 1 and will give them something to chase over this short trip.
