Umatilla is an above-average animal, and he can return to winning form in the third at Wentworth Park tonight. The three-year-old son of Fabregas has been racing well without a whole lot of luck recently and he should be given every chance tonight after finally drawing a good box. He’s rock-hard fit and ready to go.
Zipping Potter has returned some good performances this campaign and looms as a live each-way chance in the fifth at Wentworth Park tonight. The son of Mogambo dusted off the cobwebs when fifth at this track and distance first-up but has since finished second at Richmond and won here and will only improve into this. With even luck from the wide draw, he can fight out the finish.
Finale hasn’t shown his best recently, but I think that he looks well placed to do something at Wentworth Park tonight. The two-year-old has typically kept his best form for this track and distance and tracked home well to finish fourth last time out. If he steps well, the $5.50 on offer at publish could prove overs.
