Albion Park: Race 2 (7:03pm)
No. 5 Val's Boy

Val’s Boy has returned to racing in strong and consistent form this time and strikes a winnable one at odds tonight ($14 at publish). The one-year-old son of Barcia Bale hit the line well to finish on the winner’s heels at each of his three starts so far and while he does face a rise in class, he has the runs on the board and will only improve.

Albion Park: Race 4 (7:45pm)
No. 2 Sweet Talking

Sweet Talking has drawn a good box and looks well placed to return to winning form. The son of Banjo Boy has been racing well, typically in harder races than he finds tonight, and he hit the line to finish a close-up fifth at Ipswich last time out. He’s rock-hard fit and perhaps won’t be offered a better opportunity to win.

Albion Park: Race 5 (8:04pm)
No. 1 Chief Fernando

Chief Fernando is another dog that should relish what looks a drop in class at Albion Park and he can make all of his own luck from Box 1. The son of Fernando Bale has returned several pleasing efforts and results this time and if he skips to the lead this evening, he will take a plenty of catching in the late stages of the race.
